Fellow Toastmasters,
Have you ever seen
a relay race where the runner crossed the finish line in first place
- but dropped the baton just before doing so? Any way you slice it,
that runner – even while finishing first – doesn’t win the race.
We (the members of District 16) are running a relay race – and we’re
pulling up very close to the finish line. It’s looking like we just
may win Distinguished – which is our Leadership Goal – but we need
four (4) new members per Club before June 30th to cross with the
baton!
Let me ask you this…What would four (4) new members mean to your
Club? Wouldn’t some new fresh enthusiasm bring more energy to your
regular meetings?
Now is the time, as we’re taking our final strides up to June 30th,
to make the final push.
So, here’s my appeal to you: Can your Club rise to the Challenge to
help the District achieve its goal and also make your own Club
stronger?
We have accomplished many things this year as a group, including
staying at the very top of the World rankings nearly all year.
Let’s get those MEMBERS. Let’s finish STRONG. Let’s WIN TOGETHER!
